Description

Rocco's ideal home

Rocco is looking for confident owners who are happy to continue working on his training in the home, so that he can truly thrive. He will need to be the only dog in the home so all the attention can be on him. He has though previously lived with cats, so we do believe he should be fine to live with them again if they are slowly and properly introduced. He can also live with small furries/birds but they must be kept separated. Due to Rocco being underconfident particularly around handling, any children in the home will need to be 16+ that will give him space when needed. As Rocco can be reactive to other dogs, he will need his new home to have a private, secure garden where he can run around playing in his own area, with his favourite people. He will also need access to quiet walks and will need to be always kept on a lead when out and about. As Rocco can be unsure of new people, his new home will also need to have the ability to separate him from the front door. He does also need to wear a muzzle for the vets, so any adopters will need to be comfortable with this.

Could you be Rocco's perfect match?

A proper little dude, Rocco is our 9-year-old Jack Russel x Pug looking for that forever home that will join him on fun adventures before a snooze on the sofa. Although he can be a little nervous of new people initially, it doesn’t take him to long to warm up to you especially when he’s given some tasty treats to munch on.

Pug Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Pug.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
